Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Architectural Manager to join our team, focusing on large-scale commercial and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing architectural teams and delivering high-quality designs within tight timelines and budgets. This is a leadership role requiring strategic oversight and hands-on involvement in both design and execution phases of complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Leadership: Lead and manage architectural design teams on large commercial and hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, project scope, and deadlines.
• Design Management: Oversee the development of design concepts, presentations, and detailed architectural plans for major commercial and hospitality developments, ensuring creativity, functionality, and compliance with regulations.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and consultants, managing relationships and ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of architects and designers, providing guidance and support to foster professional growth and high-quality outputs.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, consultants, and service providers to ensure the smooth execution of projects from concept through to completion.
• Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resources, making adjustments as necessary to stay within financial and time constraints.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and sustainability.
• Problem Solving & Innovation: Address design and construction challenges, providing innovative solutions while maintaining project integrity and goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in architectural design and management, with a focus on commercial and hospitality projects. Experience in managing large teams and complex projects is essential.
• Education: A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. A professional architectural qualification (e.g., ARB or equivalent) is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino), as well as a strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and regulations.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and drive the successful delivery of projects from concept to completion.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking: Strong design sensibility combined with a strategic mindset to oversee the practical aspects of architecture, balancing creativity with functionality.
• Problem Solving: Ability to address and resolve project issues quickly and effectively.
